This is my wife's 4th great Grandfather. Her line includes Elizabeth Westenbarger who was Paul's 8 year old daughter when he died. The Shaeffer's took her in and their son Jacob Gilbert Shaeffer married her when she turned 17 years of age. Bob

RE: Paul Westenberger
Hi Cindy, currently I'm in Fl for the winter and most of my research is in Ohio. So with that I can only say this about his burial. Paul moved to Fairfield Co. after this oldest two sons were already in Greenfield Twp. in 1800. Paul followed and died in Nov. 1805. Reports show that they had property was neighbor to James McCleary. This is about 1 1/2 mile south of Church and Cemetery on Baugher property just east of Dumontville. I am thinking that somewhere someone had a citation for this burial - but cannot say so for sure. Happy researching. If I come across anything I try and remember to send you a note. Bob
