I have a picture of his tombstone. I found it on findagrave.com. The death date is not scribed on ot. However the birth and death dates of his second wife are. I just looked at the photo and you added it to his memorial. I feel like you are really asking me about Ernest Marvin Johnston husband of Marylyn Herod.

Thank you for sending to me the newspaper article about Gary Herod. I had him in my Herod family chart but not his wife and children. With a little research I found them with their names and birth dates etc. Who was your father in law?

I don't know anything about Carl, but I am in the process of listing and shooting pics of the entire cemetery, so if I don't have a pic of his stone yet I should some time in the future, It's really a large cemetery. It started out as a little over 1900 graves and it is already up to (well I lost track) but I think it is over 2300 and there is a lot more to go.

Lynda, good news, the Roberson's are listed for Florence Cemetery. The records are in alphabetical order, so we don't know where in the cemetery, but your information has been accurate, so we can assume they are beside the Russell's. Here is what the Rankin County Historical Society has on them: Clyde O. Robertson, 15 December 1905 - 19 March 1949; Neda R. Robertson, 15 April 1912 - 15 December 1970. Note the historical society gives a different death year for Neda than the one (1972) you gave me. Give me a week or so, and I will visit the cemetery and photograph the graves. Hello Lynda. Do you have any idea when Clyde Oren and Nedra Rachel Russell Robertson died? The reason I ask is that the Rankin County Historical Society's latest publication is Rankin County Cemetery Records 1980-1996. That may tell us something. The Society's publications are available in hard copy only. As far as I know, the information they contain is not available on the internet. If Nedra and Clyde died after 1996, the only way to know would be to visit Florence Cemetery. If you can give me death dates (or best estimates), that would help. I'll be running errands sometime in the coming week and can stop by the Brandon Library's Genealogy Room and check for you. If that magic does not work, the cemetery is not too far away and I can check there. I think I remember where the Russell graves are. --Bob | | | Zombie finder

I am sorry to say there is no visible Headstone for him in Rock Creek cemetery, I did get info that he was buried there (from where I don't recall) but this info is posted on my site along with the exact dates.
