John Winters
I saw your old request for a picture of John Winters Headstone in the IOOF Cemetery in Granby. He is buried in Granby Memorial with a picture of his stone. Hope this helps. Sandy

Lindsay Family Graveyard
I am a descendant of Isaac Lindsey, Sr. and am curious where you found records of the burials in this cemetery, since the headstones were removed by a previous property owner and thrown into Old Hickory Lake. The cemetery (graves) are still there, so the cemetery is not defunct--the graves are no longer marked because of their desecration.

I have been told by a man named Millard Bridges of Gallatin, TN, that he used to visit the graves before they were desecrated and he has given me a general idea where the cemetery is located.

Dr. Lindsey Bishop, a family member, gave the names in the graveyard as Issac Sr., Issac, Jr., Mary Elizabeth Dale Crittenden, Thomas Crittenden, Sally Crittenden, Tommy Crittenden, Terry Crittenden, Mattie Crittenden, Rhoda Lindsey, and Susannah Lindsey (total of 11). You list 13 graves including Lewis Crain and his wife Mary Polly Lindsey Crain and William C Crain on your list. We have Lewis and Mary Polly Crain being buried at Bender's Ferry Cemetery in Tennessee, but don't know of it's location as of yet. If you can provide documentation for any of this information, it would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Thank You
I'm not sure which photo you are referring to as I just uploaded a bunch. If there is no specific marker it means I could not find one, but I always put a caption on the photo explaining the area I was in is where the plot is located. I hope that helps.

Hi Linda. I attempted to find the grave to photograph, but was unable. The lady at the office gave me the site as Section J-2-5-2. There were alot of unmarked graves. I am going to "unclaim" it, because someone else may be able to find it. Sorry....Mary C
