Dakota Cavalry
Thank you for accepting my request regarding George Hoosick. Perhaps you can aid me further. I am also thinking that 3 other members of the 1st Dakota Cavalry are interred at the two "national" cemeteries in Leavenworth. One is a Sterling Parker who I believe is at Leavenworth National C. The two others are James McBee and James Cummings. Both of these servicemen died at Fort Randall, D.T. while in service and were later reinterred at Leavenworth. I believe at least Cummings at Plot 2944. McBee ought to be there, too. Any assistance/direction/photos you can provide much appreciated.
