RE: Styne - Mt Carmel
I would be happy to fulfill your requests at Mount Carmel. It would be very helpful if when you post the request that you include the plot information. Section 5 of Mt. Carmel is a pleasure to photograph since it is laid out very simply and all paths are clearly marked. The other sections - not so much, so whatever info you have would make fulfilling your requests easier.

RE: Styne - Mt Carmel
Done! FYI There are other burials in the Styne family plot. I believe the following people are interred there as well: Emily Blankstein, Leo Blankstein and Fanny Rubinstein. Don't know what if any relationship there is.

Findagrave.com gives a grayed out duplicate name in the list of siblings for all the memorial pages that list sibs. There is nothing I can do about it. You should ask a support person at findagrave.com about this policy.

I see how I ended up with a duplicate, given that this name is pretty much unsearchable -- due to the punctuation. May I suggest that the most common name used be entered and (per admin directive) no additional punctuation be used that is not either on the marker or the legal name?

Thank you for your updates - I'd appreciate it though if you would enter the info into the drop downs? I'm sure I have many entries that will need "work..."

Shomrei Habrith cemetery
I added photos to any Luria family members that didn't already have pictures. I also added Max Luria and Edith Luria (Hirsch's wife). I transferred these to you. I also added Alex Schoenfeldt and transferred this to you. I linked to his wife Mary.

edit
The monument I was referring to is actually in the Shomrei Habrith cemetery. The Kesher Zion cemetery is right next to the Shomrei Habrith cemetery.

RE: Luria
Regarding Lurias...

There is a large monument for LURIA at the Kesher Zion cemetery. I took pictures of it and posted them under MAX LURIA (which I just added). Max's gravestone is partially obscured by bushes, and his was the only stone visible. The others MAY be covered by the bushes....impossible to tell. I didn't see other Luria's but I will look again when I look for Alexander Schoenfeldt.

RE: Julius Harlam
Was Julius a pawnbroker?

Here is a link to the masonic info on him. There was also a Louis who was a master in that same lodge
