HELFENSTEIN surname
Dear Tim,

I was searching thru the names of your connections, and I find the above surname. I also have this surname on another line in my family on my mother's side. (The Netherow/Gushwa is on my father's side).

This is what I have:
William Helfenstein b 1902 d 1966 was married to Cleo Margaret Porter. Cleo of Deland, Piatt Co, IL, was the dau of Clifford Joseph Porter and Emma Gordon.

Clifford Joseph Porter was the son of Horace Greeley Porter and Eldora CARTER, both of Fulton Co and Piatt Co, IL.

Eldora CARTER Porter, was the daughter of Jackson Carter and Hariett Jane RILEY.

Harriet Riley Porter was the daughter of William Riley and Mary Ann McIlvain.

William Riley and Mary Ann McIlvain Riley are my ancestors, thru Harriet's sister Mary Ann Riley who married Patrick Little in Fulton Co, IL

William Riley and Mary Ann McIlvain were married in Mason Co, KY.

I would be very interested in knowing if Helfenstein's are also connected.

Sincerely

Carolyn Leverich Atkinson, 3rd cousin 2X removed of Cleo Margaret Porter Helfenstein

Dear Tim,

I want to thank you so much for sharing the picture of Daniel Netherow Find A Grave 126805648!!! I was so excited. This is the first time anyone has ever posted a picture of one of my relatives on Find A Grave, all the other pictures posted on mine are from me. Would you happen to have one of Elizabeth Gushwa, his wife?

I look very much to hearing from you.

Sincerely, a 4th g granddaughter who is very happy.

Emiline Applegate Day
Hello. Emiline is my 4th great-grandmother. Do you have a direct line to her? If so anything you could share being info or pictures would be wonderful. If no relation, would you be willing to transfer management? Thank you for her memorial. I am heading to photograph both her and William Harvey Day. They are buried about an hour from my house. I have several pictures of her husbands family, but none of hers. Thanks again!

Thank you!
Tim, thank you for the transfer of John J. Smith. I spent some time last night asking contributors to connect some of his children to him (he had between 22 and 24!). It will take a while to get them all done.
Anyway, I appreciate you adding the whole cemetery.

May I Please?
May I please use your photo for John J Smith #46115271 on my ancestry.com tree?

It's mainly for my mother-in-law, she's asked me to do her side of the family.

It shouldn't be there very long, but I would give credit.

Thank you.
