Mina Lucas
I was looking at the memorial for my Great Great Aunt, Mina Lucas #28919776 and I noticed that you posted a picture of someone else's headstone. However, when I looked at her husband Manuel Lucas #28919705, I noticed that the correct headstone photo was attached. Could you please attach the correct headstone photo to Mina's memorial?

Thanks in advance,

Helderman Cemetery Knox Co IN
I have relatives who are buried in Helderman Cemetery in Knoxs Co. In. I will be traveling out that way in the next few weeks. Can you please give me some type of instructions on how to get there? I'm having difficulty finding anything online. Thank you so much in advance for your help

RE: McClure/Swick Cemetery
Peggy, you sound a litle suspicious of us. That is ok. :-) We do not want just anyone out there attempting to stick stones together with who knows what. We are professional preservationists/restorationists trained by the DNR/Indiana Historical Society. You may check us out with Jeannie Regan Dinius at the DNR. Also Tim has taught basic and advanced classes in preservation for the Association of Gravestone Studies. We did the preservation work at Delay Cemetery on the Huey Farms west of Sandborn (whole cemetery)and have worked in McClure, Begaman, Salem United Church of Christ, and Sandburn Cemeteries in Vigo Township You may check with Paul Scott, the township trustee, or the president of the board Thomas Estabrook. You may also visit our website at to see the other 20 or so cemeteries we have worked in covering about 4000 stones in 5 years.
Unfortunately, I will not be at this site. Tim Moore, the vice president of the comapany, will be there on Monday or Tuesday, then for 3-4 more days after that. He would welcome your visit. You may also call me at 317-420-9727.

McClure/Swick Cemetery
We will be restoring this cemetery next week. We will repair all visible stones and probe for others. We will post pictures of the restored stones. Please do not remove your pictures. We think it is important for people to see what restoration of a cemetery can do with before and after photos. Thanks. Lorraine Doty, The Graveyard Guardians, Inc.

RE: Wow!
They were my first one! I love doing this for other people. I have some other pictures that I took if you would like to have them. Their headstone is one long one so it was hard to get close without getting all of it. I thought you might like to see the Army plaque on it.

Peggy, thank you so much for the photo. Wm. was my real grandfather that I never got to know.
Thank you again from northern Indiana.

photo request
Thank you so much for all of the tombstone photos you took for me at Danforth Cemetery. I'm sorry I didn't have an opportunity to thank you sooner, but my computer was in the shop for repairs, then I had major surgery. I really appreciate your help with my genealogy research!
