An unusual question
Hello Michele,

This might be a bit of an unusual question, but I don't know where to start. I found your name through ancestry.com and I'd like to ask you a question, since you've been studying the Kasprzyk family in Michigan, but I couldn't register for the website where I found the information, since it was a paid subscription and I don't live in the US.

Let me introduce myself first. I'm Elise and I'm living in the Netherlands. Since a couple of years I've been searching for family members of Roman A. Kasprzyk, an American soldier from Michigan who died in Germany in World War II. He's buried at the American War Cemetery of Margraten in the south of the Netherlands. The war cemetery has had a remarkable tradition for years: they let people adopt graves of fallen soldiers, so each of them has someone to look after their grave. My grandmother has been looking after Romans grave for years now and I thought it would be nice if I did some research about him online. Unfortunately, I've been completely stuck for quite some time now. I found out as much as is now already known on the website of the adoption commission: http://www.adoptiegraven-database.nl/index.php/margraten/american-war-cemetery-margraten-k/38937-kasprzyk-roman-a

Do you have some information for me? He had two sisters, but I'm completely lost on how to trace them and find out whom they married...

It would be great to hear from you, thanks in advance.

Elise

Hi:

Added photos to their pages. It's difficult to get a photo in there--that's the best I could do. Hope it's OK.

Happy Holidays,

RE: requests
No, I did not receive them; otherwise you would have heard from me by now. I usually do my SAC's right away, or within a few days of getting them, unless something comes up. Please resend, and remember to read the guidelines about transfers here:
