First thank you for the photo. You were very speedy. I forgot to ask, if there was a spouse, Even though he was a 1st cousin I have no record, and don't know.

Recrods are saying he "fell in battle at Cold Harbor near Ricmond, VA." I'm was just under the assumption perhaps he was buried in the cemetery. If he isn't buried there where would he be buried?

Hi!

I think this is a relative of yours. I am not related so I have transferred him to your care.

RE: Charles & Mary Britton
Sherry,

I am sorry I do not know any more about Mary Perry Britton. What I have posted came from a clipping I found in my great aunt's things. That side of the family in from western New Kent/ eastern James City counties and had relatives living in eastern Henrico/Richmond. Most of the clippings seem to be family but some were friends. I am connected to two Britton families.

George W Britton (born ca 1849) and his wife Emma S (born May 1854) had a daughter Barbara A. who married my GG Uncle James V HICKS (aka Vollie)

Andrew W. Britton (born ca 1848) the first husband of Nannie Bea CUMBER who later married my G grandfather.

Also, Britton is spelled Brittain in 1880 and 1900 Henrico census

Please let me know if you can connect all these families
