I was first bitten by the genealogy bug when my 4th grade class was assigned to do their family trees. I was able to talk to both sets of grandparents about their ancestry (I still have the original papers they wrote them down on somewhere).

When the internet and email were still pretty new (and Rootsweb was still a new website and before they were purchased by Ancestry.com), my sister and I began administrating several Rootsweb Surname lists. I still administer LUTHER and GRISSOM lists (my maternal grandfather's line).

I am currently researching Weaver, Havard, Green, West, Grissom, Luther, Boothe, Joplin, McVey, Bowden, Martin, White, Godfrey, Carter and Whitman. I have many more not listed too!

If I am the current manager of FAG profile of your family member, I am more than willing to transfer the profile to you (unless it's also a member of my family too). Just ask!
