Mary Perry
Is this Mary Wilson Edgar Perry that married Edwin Edward Perry Sr. If so this is my 3rd great grandmother. She also married a Patton and a Matthews. I am the granddaughter of Thomas Edward Perry and Mary Texanna Morris Perry. I am Janie Zorado Perry Giddens daughter, Gail Giddens Collum. I would really like to find out.

RE: Nesbitt - Sycamore Grove Cemetery
Hey, Mary ...

It just occurred to me that I could transfer the management of your dad's memorial (#80609372) and those of your grandparents (#80609411 and #80609419) to you, if you'd like. Please let me know.

Hello, Mary ...

The list of siblings on a memorial page are entered by the Find-A-Grave system, not the creating contributor. All of the siblings have to be linked to their parents before they can appear on the list of siblings. However, I have located your two aunts' memorials and sent in "edits" for them to be linked to their parents (William Henry and Mary Frances Nesbitt), so they should appear soon on your father's sibling list. Hope you're having a nice Memorial Day Weekend.

Robert Nesbitt
Hi there. I am a Nesbitt, born in Dickson County, Tenn. in 1944. I live in NC now.
I am a direct descendent of Jeremiah Nesbitt, born 1776 and died July 31, 1855. It has never been determined if he and John Nesbitt were cousins, brothers, or just what type kin they are. Jeremiah is buried in our family cemetery, the Adams-Nesbitt Cemetery. In fact all my grandfathers in a direct line from Jeremiah are buried in this cemetery all the way down to my dad, William J. Nesbitt. Dad was the author of a book on our Nesbitt family called "Nesbitt of that Ilk." I question some of the information located on this website. The unmarked gravesites in the picture of the so called parents of Robert and Jeremiah is not true. That is where the slaves were buried. Robert is not located in this cemetery. He lived on Barton's Creek and was buried on his homesite. I have found this information in the Nashville, Tennessee recorded wills. Thanks for listening, Nancy Nesbitt Johnson

Mary, Isaiah, was also, my 3rd great grandfather. I have been searching for the name of his first (or second or third) wife. My second great-grandmother, Mary E. White, born 1838, was his 3rd daughter. Older daughters were Rachel, born 1831 and Elizabeth Carolina, born 1834.

I have denoted in the plot section that this is a cenotaph. To make the cenotaph complete, you need to notify an admin when his true burial place is located so that they can link the memorials (only admins can do this now). Thanks
