My wife Sandy and I have been actively involved in hunting for our ancestors for nearly 50 years. It is a good thing we started young. We have searched archives, libraries, and cemeteries across the country. We have travelled abroad to England, Norway and Germany to continue our search. In 2002 I published a book on my Strother ancestry. Presently, I am working on another book that will encompass ancestors on all family lines for both Sandy and me.
When not working on genealogy, I enjoy hiking in the Arizona desert. It is more beautiful than I can describe and great exercise. I play golf (high handicap), another activity to get me outside. I love good food and wine, old movies and my bourbon. Retired life is good! | |

I believe you are correct in both things you mentioned. I have changed the info after researching further.
