It brings me great pleasure to find and remember my ancestors: Morrison, Klindworth, Kemmer, Johnson, Levesque, Leduc, Trembley, Mueller/Miller, and many more. Seeing the gravesites on makes me feel like I can pay them tribute even though I cannot travel where they are buried.

RE: John Lapp, Jr
I found them in the Amherst Bee. I would at the Main Buffalo Library and go through them week by week and page by page. Just use the Edit feature and you can link them yourself, by the way I married Linda Lapp of Amherst NY

RE: Anna Morrison
Ones vs. fours are always a problem on worn stones, but the bottom part of this stone is in fairly good condition. The 1 in the 18 does not appear to be a 4, as compared with the 4 below it, which is rather fancy, and the 1 in the 1805.
The other evidence would be that her father (Hugh Morrison) was born in 1757, therefore a birth for her of Oct 1786 is logical.

Info on Joseph LeDuc
you had listed Joseph Albert Le Duc B:1809
and married to Aurelie. They had 8 children.
I am trying very hard to determine if a
Joseph T Le Duc B:1858/1862 and D:1930 is
in fact their son. Joseph T had married Jeannette

Both Jeannette and Joseph T Le Duc are
buried at the same cemetery and their
dates appear consistent.

thank you very much

What ship did Captain Hugh Morrison & Martha McCrillis come on in 1726? Where did you get all the information you gave -- is there an obit or bio? Thanks so much -- Juli

RE: Dewey Tower
You may also want information that we found in the cemetery books. There was a Smith Tower and a Samuel B Tower buried. It showed Samuel being buried 3/10/1876 in Grave 11 and Smith being buried 8/20/1879 in Grave 12. Could they be the infant sons? There was also a small stone - barely readable - for Caroline, daughter of----- the rest was unreadable. Also in the cemetery book was a record of "child of Atcock" who was buried January of 1869 in Grave 4. This child was buried among the Towers but we could not find a stone.

In the inscription for Capt John Morrison who died 30 Aug 1807, you have son of John and Ann. Do you happen to remember where that was written. I can't see where that might be on the photo we took. Also, on his father's stone you have the name as Capt. did you see that on the stone?
