I am grateful to have been born in 1938 into a wonderful family on the mill village in Jonesville, South Carolina; to have attended and graduated from Jonesville High School in 1956, and Clemson Agricultural College (now Clemson University), in Clemson, South Carolina, in the class of 1960; and to have lived, worked and made lasting friendships in such wonderful places as Kingsport, Tennessee; Sanford, Florida; Orlando, Florida; Baltimore, Maryland; and (currently and last) Arlington, Virginia and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Life is good.
