I am grateful to have been born in 1938 into a wonderful family on the mill village in Jonesville, South Carolina; to have been able to attend and graduate from Jonesville High School in 1956, and Clemson Agricultural College (now Clemson University), in Clemson, South Carolina, in the class of 1960; and to have have been able to live, work and make lasting friendships in such wonderful places as Kingsport,Tennessee, Sanford, Florida, Orlando, Florida, Baltimore, Maryland, and (currently) Arlington, Virginia and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.|

Thank you for the suggestion. Katie Mckinney has been linked to her mother Roberta Clark Barnett. I also am from the small Jonesville mill village and have many fond memories. I knew your family well.

|Tamara Boynton Canipe||Maggie Mae and Harry|
Thank you so much for posting these pics I remember them both from my childhood. Maggie Mae was my father's aunt. They left us their piano when they died. My Dad was very involved with them as they got older. I too graduated from Clemson. My father, William (Billy) Skinner Boynton is now 86. We visited his grandfather's old house this summer. It is abandoned and on the Donnelley WMA land in the ACE Basin It is a wildlife sanctuary. Their is a biking trail called the Boynton Trail that leads to the house. I have pictures posted on my facebook page if you would like to look.
Thanks so much for posting these. I am sending them to my Dad right now!

|Deborah Sanders Evans||william s. sanders family|
I am the great grand-daughter of William S. and Winnie Vaughn Sanders (my father is the son of William T. Sanders). Does anyone have information about where the Sanders family came from originally and when they came to the US? I have only been able to track the family down as far as William and Winnie Vaughn Sanders in Union or Cherokee county.
Any help would be appreciated.

|Adam Petty||Picture of William Joseph Vaughn|
My name is Adam Petty. We are related through the Vaughn family. My ancestor was Robert Daniel Vaughn, Winnie V. Sanders' brother. My father and his family were from Pea Ridge and attended Foster's Chapel Church. My aunt was Peggy Petty and she says she knows you. I saw the picture you saved on the memorial for William Joseph Vaughn and wondered if you had any other pictures of him or his wife. Seeing that picture was a wonderful find! Look forward to hearing from you. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org
|Saratoga||Annie Withers Hamett|
R. Koger, Annie is a part of my grandson's family of Withers from Georgetown and Charleston. Tough family to put all together. I would be glad to add anything you have to her memorial. If you really, really want her, I'll go ahead and forward. Just let me know.

Today I was doing a search for information on a marker for my Mothers grave and came across this site with her information and the attached pictures. These are some pictures that I have never seen. I was curious as to how you came across these pictures to upload to this site. Are you an acquaintance or related to our family?
Please feel free to email me at email@example.com

I am wondering if your Holmes family is my Holmes family.
Does William O have a Harley Landrum Holmes as a brother, by chance?
