I am the Granddaughter of Texa Vivian Hester Tongate, who was the daughter of William Jehu Hester(son of William Carroll Hester). My Mother was Helen Tongate. I've been researching for a few years now, filling in the blanks every now and then when I find another piece of the puzzle. I've been going through the family photos, which sad to say have very few names listed, not to mention dates they were taken. I've uploaded what I've identified so far and will add any I might identify in the future. If I could be of any help to any kin or cousins I'd be glad to help. And if you find any errors let me know and I'll see that corrections are made.

Thank you for the note and suggestions. Yes, we are cousins and I'm always happy to make contact with family!
Family history and Texas has been on my mind recently - largely because we just had a little boy about 18 months ago. I didn't have much connection to my extended family when I was growing up and I missed it. I want to make sure my son has a stronger connection than I did.
I'm slowly gathering family history and photos for the Goodwin side. I'll move onto other sides soon enough. I've already spoken with Ruby about this. She has a lot of information but needs to go through it to see what exactly she has. I don't think it's an easy task so it may take her a while. If you want to reach her, I'd recommend calling her. Let me know if you need her number.

FYI . . . after a little research, I found that the Ezzell Cemetery is actually defunct . . . and under water . . . and that most of the graves were moved to Green Hill Cemetery . . . including your Jane Hester . . . so all of the memorial pages are going to need to be removed from this Ezzell listing . . . and findagrave will need to be asked to add a note to the cemetery main page explaining that it is a defunct cemetery . . . with a link to Green Hill . . . sooo . . . could you go ahead and edit or delete any pages you have in this cemetery . . . > HERE < is the list of the graves that were moved . . . thanks for your help . . .
