RE: Hi Cathy (TAPPANs)
Fred - I am SOO sorry for being so tardy on replying to your original note. I am FINALLY recovering from too much work, too many family health issues...and I can tend your request.

1. Would you still like for me to transfer mgmt of the Tappan's to you...I will happily do this.

2. Do you know more about Mary Simpson? Her parents?

3. I am now retired in Sullivan County...if I can be of assistance, let me know.

RE: additional Civil War Vets
Thank you Fred ~ I have added them to the Virtual Cemetery list. One by one ~ if that's what it takes to get all of our veterans the proper recognition they deserve one by one .... Laura

William Tappen
Hello Fred. I noticed you added a picture for James Tappen, who is buried in the Fallsburgh cemetery. I thought you would be interested to know that I recently listed his brother William in the North Settlement cemetery.

RE: Palmatier
I have looked for this headstone for a year now and I'm glad to have found it. It had been knocked over and was flipped. As you can see it's not in the greatest shape. This is farmland and the soil can be just as bad for the stones as the weather. His headstone is by itself it sits between the Hoard family and the Elting family plots. There are other Palmatier's in this cemetery and I think that some may have been posted on here already not sure if there are more, but I will keep my eyes open.
