I found a Obit. in Okmulgee times paper and it had a James A Ashley died Oct 1943. It named the brothers and sisters, Also named a sister as Mrs Cecil Jones. Tell me if you thank this the same Hattie Ashley that you are looking for. | |

Yes I'm a Ashley but not Austin Cliffords (Uncle Bud) family tree but from his brother John Robert. I do remember some of Uncle Bud's kids. Bessie, Sarah (Bobbie), and Gus's Wife Nettie. I may have remember more of them but I was about 6 or 7 at the time. I'm thinking that Hattie may have come back to Okla. after Dewey died, but I don't think the one you found is her. 54928591 and Sara 82711847 say their sister Hattie Jones. I did go to Shawnee and look at there city books and found a Hattie Jones in Shawnee living in a house????? until 1986 and then some kind of home in 1987, and then nothing in 1988. In a few weeks I go back to Shawnee and hit a cecetery or 2. She may be in Ada Ok. because she had a brother buried there. But I do think that she is in that area. I'm going to go see one of my dads cousins may I can get a little info from him. Mary Carol | |
