borned and raised cumberland co. ky left there in early,s 70s moved south to work. got married and stay raised my 3 dau,s and retired now. playing on computer looking to make my family genealogy easier to locate.for future generation.will remove any names up on family request or transfer owership of memorial. My family reseach names are BOW,MOLES,YORK,SCOTT.ARMS.McCLUSKEY,RIDDLE and a few more.WIFE side ROBERTSON,EDGEWORTH,ROBINSON,McCOOL,Bobo.Wallace,SCOTT and few more. The people buried in these cemeteries are us. They toiled, laughed, cried and struggled in adversities we will never know and adversities we can well relate to and from that, we can draw strength. Regardless of why we post their burial sites, they were also loved and respected by someone and deserve to be remembered. This site is purposely set up so that we can SHARE our info, not for self glorification based on our contribution.|
I would hope part of the ulitmate goal is to show respect for the human race, living or dead. Be assured that if I post one of your ancestors or your mother or father or child, however they are related, I have absolutely NO reason to keep it under my control if you want to maintain it and will gladly transfer it immediately. I DO NOT OWN the information I have chosen to share on this website. After all, if it's someone from whom you are genetically descended, you are bound to feel a responsibility for them. They are YOUR Family and YOUR loved ones. And I'm very glad that I helped you find them.
PS. I try to follow FAG Guidelines as possible can. *******************************************PLEASE SEND ANY CORRECTIONS/SUGGESTIONS THRU THE "EDIT" BUTTON.
I will review the info before any changes are made.

I do not have alot of info on Spicy, alot of what I have came from another researcher. My grandmother lived in Cumberland County as Nora Smith her mother was Spicy Scott who's mother was Mary Spears and then her mother Spicy which is the Spicy I believe you are referring to. I have not been able to prove or disprove this is the same Spicy that married John Mc clusky. Eventhou if my memory serves right I did find similiarities in the census . If you have any info it would be appreciated. My dad loves to hear any info I have. I do not have full access to ancestory right now, so my research has been put on hold

Richard, no problem with the photo of Wint & Julia Coop. Do not delete it please. My father, Winfrey Jay Coop, was Mattie's youngest brother. We just lost him in Nov. 2011. I recognized the photo because I had seen it before. I need to go through the photos I brought home when my father passed away to see if he had that photo. Hopefully, I will find it there.

Richard, I walked the Bluff Cr. Cemetery today & did not find stones for Harvey & Bernice. Still have a lot of snow, if they have a flat stone I may have missed them, but I don't think that I did. I will try and check again when the snow is all gone. Lanny

I know what you mean. When I do a memorial, I try to do family links; even go to Ancestry.com and find info. It irks me to try to get contributors to add info and they ignore it. Findagrave has made it easier since Ancestry took control of it but they seem to mostly add the dates I send, not the family links that I edit.

I've about decided that what they are doing is when they find out someone dies they do a partial memorial without listing where the person is buried and then when they find out, they finish the memorial and release it and their number is first. I check the cemetery before I do a memorial to make sure someone else has not done one. Then I have gotten to where I check afterwards because sometimes two of us are doing them at the same time. They let me know that I had one memorial that someone else had done. I deleted mine and checked and found out they had done one too. I let them know the other person had done hers first. The last time I looked both memorials were still on there. I'd really like to know who they are.

Thanx. I sent a correction just now. Should know not to "copy and paste" at my age!
