|Rhonda Earp||Morton cemetery|
Thank you for your work on findagrave! I had a question about Morton cemetery in Adair county OK. I had always heard that my great great grandmother Sarah Jane Scott Trentham along with some more Morton, Scott and Trentham relatives were buried here but you only list 5 and 4 of them are related so I think I'm on the right track. Are there more graves up there? I know it's not an awfully big cemetery but there are about 13 or so burials there according to family history. Just wondering if I have the right cemetery. I can't seem to find anything listed anywhere else in Oklahoma for her. Thanks for any help you can give me.
Would you transfer Vernal Morton #28548159 to me? He was my great-uncle. Thank you!

We found 10 or 12 other Coon headstones so we took pictures and entered them on the FindAGrave Cemetery listing. Hope some of them are other family members! They are all located close to each other in the cemetery. Also, on Martha and A.P.'s stone, A.P.'s inscription was on the west side and Martha's was on the east. Therefore, A.P.'s was very weather worn and Martha's was protected. Enlarge the epitaph photos for that stone and the epitaphs are typed below the picture!

I am grateful that you took time out to look for my gggrandfathers stone at Lone Elm. I will remove the request right away and probably focus on finding a grave plot map. Thank you again!

We were very glad to help! We were just in that graveyard the day before getting pictures for another person and remembered the name next to where we had parked. We were in the graveyard only three minutes and we are only 15 minutes away. Made it very easy. If you need more just let us know!
