Charlotte, yes Horace A. Greely Pence was married to Gussie or Gertie. In 1910 census, Ind. Co., Christian townsip, her name appeared to be Girtie, age 21, b TN mar 1 time for 4 years. In 1920 Ind. Co., Rosie township, Gusie is 32, b. AR Mo Unk. Horace's WWI draft info lists nearest relative as Gusie Lee Pence of Rosie. I do not know if "Lee" is her middle name or maiden name, as I have never found their marriage record. Horace was living with his parents & siblings in 1900 census in Sharp Co., Piney Fork, and they married about 1906, based on census info, but I don't know exact year the Pences came to Ind. Co so that doesn't tell me where they might have married. There is confusion re his name as family data, census & WWI draft lists name as Horace A. Greely Pence. However, his short obit lists "A.J. Pence" & only mentions that his brother was Wm Osmond but does not mention his parents, spouse, etc. I believe the reason he was in Rosie area is that his mother was a Graddy & several of the Graddy family from Evening Shade came to Rosie area about the same time frame. Sorry that I cannot be of more help. One possiblity might be Gussie's death certificate which may list her maiden name. Sometimes that really helps & then other times that portion is left blank. My Mother said they did not have children?? I wasn't too interested in history at the time to ask more questions. Let me know if you find any further info & I will do the same.
|FamilyFinder||RE: Luke Ostrye (and Sylvester)|
Thanks for the update on Luke Ostrye's (132413979) burial location. I have deleted the memorials I created for both him and his son, Sylvester. One small request though, you had posted a picture of Sylvester on the memorial I had originally created and since I have deleted it, could you please re-post Sylvester's picture on his correct memorial #148237467? Thank you for your help, very appreciated!

Are you a descendant of William and Andrew Bradford--the printers? Do you know where I can find a listing of descendants? My third great grandfather John Bradford was raised by the Smith family so I am looking for a connection. My John Bradford was married in Franklin County In in 1817.
Is William Bradford, father of Andrew the grandfather of William Bradford of Fayette County or Scott County KY that was a printer? Thanks for a reply or any help you can give me---like names of children of William and Andrew Bradford. Thanks.

You are welcome! I have the memorials for Mr. and Mrs. Gibbons in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery I can transfer if you'd like. I have memorials for Gibbonses in Sunset Cemetery in Manhattan also. Are you related to them? Always happy to give them to friends or family. I just take the pictures!
I was referring to Mrs. Gibbons, but the offer still stands..

Thank you for the edits and the photo. I just added this memorial after photographing part of that cemetery on Monday. Are you related and would you like the memorial? I'd be happy to send it on!
