Bio and Links
Bio Photo Cemeteries are "a memorial and a record. (They are) not a mere field in which the dead are stowed away unknown; it is a touching and beautiful history, written in family burial plots, in mounded graves, in sculptured and inscribed monuments. (They tell) the story of the past, not of its institutions, or its wars, or its ideas, but of its individual lives,--of its men and women and children, and of its household. (A cemetery) is silent, but eloquent; it is common, but it is unique. We find no such history elsewhere; there are no records in all the wide world in which we can discover so much that is suggestive, so much that is pathetic and impressive." ~~ Joseph Anderson, American clergyman (1836-1916)

Midway Alleys
Linda,
Thank you so much for transferring the Midway Alleys to me. I know you put in a lot of time and effort in photos and creating the memorials. I will take good care of them.
I was able to visit Midway Baptist Cemetery last week and it was great to stand there and see them all together. They were obviously a close family. If you had not found them, I would still be wondering where they were. I will be adding a few photos but not many are needed because you did such a good job.
I really appreciate it,
William

Thanks, again and again, for all your great photos. Take Sunday off now... look at all the happy creatures dancing on the lawn.

MULLINS in Georgia
Linda,
I appreciate your adding the obituary from the 1879 Columbus Enquirer about the death of my ggg-grandmother Elizabeth Mullins (wife of Elijah) to the website's listing of her gravesite in Linwood Cemetery, Columbus, GA.

May I use the photos you took on my ancestry.com tree?
