Find A Grave Instructions:
How do I get a relative's memorial transferred to me?
First, Determine if you really need the memorial transferred to you for management. Transferring of management should only be requested If you have extensive changes to make to a memorial. You can add photos and suggest corrections without having to request management. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request. With hundreds of thousands of contributors, we have many overlapping family trees and it would be impossible for all contributors to manage their entire tree.
Second, Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

|K. Lascelles||RE: Catherine Leonard Meiser/Miser|
Thank you for writing back to me. I can't remember why I contacted you, but I probably was asking you if you had any pictures of Catherine Leonard Meiser.
Catherine is my third great grandmother, on my maternal side:
Marjorie Laswell (Olmstead)
Olive Geneva Olmstead (Wentworth)
I hope that your knee replacement surgery has been successful for you, and that you are well recuperated by now!
You can contact me at: email@example.com. I would greatly appreciate any old pictures of a young Catherine Leonard Meiser, if you have any to share.
Thank you for your time,
With every best wish,

|Amy Barry||RE: W. R. Garity ~ SLC Cemetery|
There may be Garity headstones next to it, but if the last name doesn't match I generally don't notice them. I did see the W.R. Garity in the plot next to Anna Wirthlin and you will be happy to note that next to W.R. is EDW. ML. Garitz 1888-10/04/1901 (Eureka UT).
The cemetery database is rife with typos so that is possibly why they could not locate it with the name you provided, but the proximity and misspellings seem to make sense. That plot # is G_5_3_3WN2 .
If you put in a new photo request for those 2 I will go back out and look.
Hope that helped.

Done. The headstone was easier to read in person, but the photo just wouldn't come out well. This was the best shot I got that was legible enough. Glad to be able to get it.

The photos were shared by another family member - you should be able to copy & use as needed. I have nothing for the other two wives.
My family ties in through Florence Baker who married Earl Clark Jones, son of Elias & Myra Jones, and Elias was the son of William & Barbara.

I see another has placed a photo of Jane MacDuff Butler from a group photo of her sisters and sister-in-law. If you like I can give you the full photo. I also have photos of Jane's older brothers and sisters.
Ada Alice MacDuff Rampton is the second youngest sister and my greatX2 grandmother. Jane Rowan MacDuff is the youngest sister in John Robertson MacDuff and Ellen Hancock's family.
I have family group records and photos with history if you need. I can send them Jpeg or PDF.

I have changed the memorial the way that you
indicated. I don't know just what happend unless
the family may buried the ashes at the Athena
cemetery. This memorial along with about 13,000
was tranfered to me and I am working hard to make
all corrections as I receive them.
Thank you very much for your input.

I don't have any info on his wife. Do you?
|Susan Powell Rose||RE: LAND, Paul|
I think this could be the explanation. The cemetery caretaker told me yesterday, when a plot is shared the information recorded is for the first one died. However, the map confirms he is there and the cemetery book shows his birth 12/19/1853 and death 3/1/1919. Does this help? The Paul deed no. J-140-1, Luella deed no. J-007-7, Momument deed no. J007-6. The stone is white marble. Let me know if I can help again. Susan
