My name is Janice Kay Wigley-Beckham...the old Cedar Valley Cemetery, is our Family Cemetery. A special thanks to Frank Irons. My Mom's Jackson family has lived out in Cedar Valley for over a Hundred years (Abt. 1890).I lived there until I was 11 years old. My parents moved to California and they moved back to Texas in 1994...to retire. I have stayed in California with my small family. My only son Sean Rounsaville passed away in 1999, at the age of 29, he left two daughters and my daughter has 2 sons. I go back at least once a year and visit my Dad, my Mom has passed away Odessa Jean Jackson Wigley and all my relatives in Bell County.

According to cemetery records, Clyda Britton is listed as Mrs. Johnny Britton, 12/22/1916 - 12/8/1972. She and her husband Johnny D, 9/6/1909 - 7/1/1977, are buried in the Garden of Sunrise section, Block G, Lot 4, spaces 5 & 6. There is no tombstone(s), so therefore no picture. Hope this helps.

There are the remments of the surrounding fence so we know how big the cemetery was, probably no more then 25 by 25. Haven't seen any evidence of other gravestones.

Wayne Ware and I were at this cemetery on 12 March 2013 and repaired the fallen gravestone of David Elison Collins. We will returne and mortar in the base of the gravestone for Jemima in the near future. | | | M W B
