RE: Alexander Denny
So odd, but they declined my pictures of the unmarked graves and then approved the same pictures. If you go to the McCabe Cemetery you will see pictures of the graves that we found. It makes sense to approve the pictures since it is so hard to get to the cemetery and these grave markers are not clear enough to actually post a profile for a person.

RE: Alexander Denny
Click on the McCabe Cemetery site and you will see his name. I've posted all six graves that I could find to that site, but they need to be approved before they are visible. Whoever owns the cemetery site posted Alexander's name. I can send you the pictures that I took by email if you would like to see them before they are approved by Find A Grave. It was fun to go there.

Alexander Denny
Hello Trudy. It was a surreal experience to look for Alexander Denny's grave. He is buried in a ghost town cemetery and there are only a few graves marked. There are two perfect graves complete with artificial flowers, two damaged markers with some lettering and two unmarked graves.

Since Alexander is listed on the McCabe Cemetery posting we could assume that the one unmarked grave belongs to Alexander. So, I posted the picture that I took.

You drive down five miles of very, very bad road at two miles per hour and arrive at a cemetery that is only visible if an old-timer gold miner tells you exactly how to get there. We found that very miner at a little store in Humboldt, Arizona. He was quite helpful.

The cemetery is overgrown with pricker bushes, weeds, rocks, and deep ruts from many floods. The old miner told us that many of the tombstones have been stolen and the Find A Grave site says that they have been washed away. Either scenario seems possible.

It was quite an experience to go to the McCabe Cemetery. We feel like we live in the "old" West for sure. The road is five miles from my house and we would have never known that it was there without your request.

Lusk family cemetery
Trudy, I have tried to get to that cemetery several times to do photos for people but it is on private property which is no longer " in the family". I have tried calling the property owners to no avail for permission to go on their land but to no avail. I will try again.
