|Sgt Edward Longshore/USMC||Horace and Alma Longshore|
I'm not sure but you might be my aunt kathleen. My name is Edward McKittrick Longshore (Kitt). I am currently stationed in California. I just wanted to show my appreciation for posting my Grandmother's grave.
I don't mind filling any requests for this cemetery but you have to have location of the deceased. They will not provide me with the information.

You're very welcome. I took other pictures at the Adcock Cemetery that had not been requested, also. One of those was Daniel J McLeod,b. Jan. 10, 1855 d. Jun. 18, 1926. He was buried next to Florence. Find A Grave #75865964.

Just wanted you to know it was a pleasure.
I had to add flour to the gravestone to bring
out the writing, and then I took the photo.
Afterwards I used water to wash it down again.
After the next rain, all flour will be washed
away. There are many Todd family sites here
and it is a small, quaint cemetery. Ellen Z

It was my pleasure! My wife and I pass through Lee County on our way to my in-laws so I decided to make the stop and take a few pictuers.

Hi Cousin Kathleen. Thanks for posting the picture of Great-Grandfather Evan.

You're welcome. I'm just glad I could help.
|EFG||RE: James Todd's gravemarker|
Glad to have been able to get the photo for you! I wanted to mention several things:(1) the concrete, standing marker is the original (2) the flat marker is newer & someone had to pay to have this made & installed (3) same things for Miles Wilson who is mentioned as James' brother-in-law ... I took photos of his site also in case you wanted them (4) if you contact the Old City Cemetery at www.gravegarden.org they will mail you a copy of the actual burial info page from the undertaker's ledger. They should also be able to tell you who bought the newer plaques in case you are interested in connecting with others researching your family lines. OCC site has lots of historical info you might find interesting to read. Your relatives are in a very pretty & well maintained resting place.
