Texas Rangers Ransom Herrin and son James Monroe Herrin are my husbands ggrandfathers.|
The pioneer families lived in Boerne and Harper, Texas and were involved in the McDonald Massacre.
We have been updating the family memorials recently and hope to recruit family members to take on some of the memorials.
I am pleased to say I have met some cousins through find a grave and I am very grateful for this opportunity.

No, I am not related. I have two friends buried in this cemetery so we made the 240 mile trip to take photo's. I ended up taking over 450. Some one made memorial pages for everyone buried in this cemetery but they didn't add photo's so that is what I am doing. If you will send me your email address I will send you a copy of Bessie's death certificate (if I can remember how to do it) Senior moments are coming fast and furious...but I am fairly sure I can send it.

You might check her Texas death certificate #45542. The information on it is completely different than what you have listed. It shows she was born in Austin and died in Melvin. It shows she died in 1949 and you have 1942. Just thought you might recheck her information and make corrections on her page. Thank you.
|Dale Diehl||Luella Herrin|
I came across your record for Ransom Herrin. He is also my GG-Grandfather. I noticed that you have a daughter (Luella) listed in the bio. She is my G-Grandmother. I have seen her name spelled many ways and I'm not sure which is correct. Her husband, Robert Diehl, is burried in the Valley Spring cemetery, in Valley Spring, TX., but I have never been able to locate her burial location. I was hoping that you might have additional information about her. Thanks for all of the information you have posted on the family. It is very informative! You can e-mail me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org

Thank you soooo much, Jane.
Sorry I haven't been in touch lately.
Had been under the weather for quite
a spell and seldom touched the computer.
Will try to write more often.
All kindest wishes
Cousin Dave Cheesman

Hi, I went to Oakwood Annex in Austin to photograph Minnie, William, and Arthur Palmquist, however they do not have headstones. The lot they are located in is solely Palmquist, but only one has a headstone, and his name is Melvin Eugene Palmquist.
You're welcome, glad I could help

Hi Jane! Your reunion notice is now live on the site:
If you want to add details as they become available please just keep me posted and I will update as often as you need me to. Glad I can help you with getting the word out!
I was STILL not able to find the stone with the corrected information so I will call up the cemetery office tomorrow. I'm sure I've overlooked it, but just to triple-check...
