RE: Sloan Family
Hi Joyce,
I am not related but please feel free to add the photo to the memorial(s). It might help someone else searching for family :-)

Blesesings,
Barb

RE: Maske
Samuel (d 10/29/1940), Lydia (d 3/20/1950), Bertha (d 8/2/1953), Clara (1893-1963), and Emma (1892-1972) Maske are buried at Graceland Cemetery. The plot is in section 15, block 2, lot 4. I will try again to find the babies who are buried at Union, but finding infant markers that are more than 100 years old is a bit difficult there.

RE: John G Klafsky
Hi Joyce,

I only take pictures of headstones, so know no Klafsky's. Best to call the phone number for the cemetery.

RE: Maske
I'll see what I can find the next time I am doing research. Arthur & Lillian are buried in a section that has family plots, so there might be other family members buried with them.

RE: Maske
I checked the cemetery records for everyone with the name Maske. They have an Arthur who was buried 7/2/1900 and Lillian who was buried 5/28/1900. I did not find a listing for Anna. If you know, roughly, when she died, there is another set of records that I can check at a local library. It might be a month or more before I can look for markers. Everything is covered in snow right now.

Hi, I know it's been 2 years since you asked me this question. I wish I had some pictures but very unfortunately I don't have any :(

RE: Fenster
I'd love to include your line in the Fensterer books. Since I can't access my electronic files right now I can't just search for the name (which would be faster), I have to physically go through the written books (and there are several 3 inch binders in volumes, LOL). Lots of Franks and Claras. :) So, you'll have to be more specific about which "Frank & Klare Fenster" you refer to so I can look them up. Birth & death years, & parents would help a lot as they are indexed by paternal lines. The name "Tiede" sounds familiar, so I'm sure I have some information somewhere. I'd be happy to share what I have with you.

BTW, It might be easier for us to collaborate by email and it would be more private since these postings are public. Send me a note to ancestory4me@aol.com

Best regards,
Michelle

Klare Louise Tiede Fenster is my Greatgrandaunt.
I have been working on the Tiede tree and others for over 20 yrs. I would be interested if you have all the descendants of Frank & Klare Fenster. I think I've got fairly complete list.

RE: Ella Fenster - CORRECTION TO REPLY
Joyce,
I made a mistake, in my last message, on the 7th generation down in transcribing from my notebooks. I marked the original and CORRECTION with an "*".

From me back (all individuals are deceased unless otherwise noted):

Michelle Diane Thompson (living) daughter of Layton Charles Thompson (living) & Cheryl Diane Fenster (living).

Cheryl Diane Fenster (living) daughter of Dale Levon Fenster & Shirley Mae Deichmann.

Dale Levon Fenster, son of Richard Wayne Fenster & Irma Irene Lemmons.

Richard Wayne Fenster (1925-1926), son of Jakob Heinrich Fensterer (aka Jacob Herman Fenster)(1873-1914) & Amalie Alvina Ida Kohtz (1874-1960).

Jakob Heinrich Fensterer (1873-1914), son of Franz Karl Friedrich Fensterer (aka Charles Fenster) (1846-1916) & Johann Elias Friedrich Fensterer & Marie Wilhelmine Caroline Oppermann.

Johann Elias Friedrich Fensterer (1812-1877), son of Johann Andreas Fensterer (1784-1855) & Christine Margarethe Gebhardt (1783-1843).

*Johann Elias Friedrich Fensterer (1812-1877), son of Johann Wilhelm Fensterer (1747-1803) & Sophia Elisabeth Geyer (1759-1838).

*CORRECTION: Johann Andreas Fensterer (1784-1855), son of Johann Wilhelm Fensterer (1747-1803) & Sophia Elisabeth Geyer (1759-1838).

Johann Wilhelm Fensterer (1747-1803), son of Christian Georg Fensterer (1719-1803) & Sophia Elizabeth Geyer (1759-1838).

Most of the information I have compiled on these (prior to US Immigration) came from the original church records at Ringleben,Deutschland (Now: Ringleben, Thuringen, Germany) thanks to the cooperation of a distant cousin Lutz Fensterer who still lives in/near Ringleben & friend Walter Morich of Nebraska.

Thanks & God Bless,
Mrs. Michelle Larson

RE: Ella Fenster
Joyce,
I don't have my file directly in front of me, so I'm gonna give you what I can remember, LOL. The computer I have my GED file on is currently in need of repair, so I can't access it right now. I'll be happy to send you more once the equipment is fixed. :)

I have lots more documentations, exact dates, etc. and would be happy to share.

Can you tell me how you are related? Would love to make sure I have the information in your line complete before I publish my Fensterer books.

Thanks & God Bless,
