I have been working on our family trees for over 30 years. I enjoy discovering the history and places our ancestors have been. Summer 2008 we traveled to Maine and saw where my husband's maternal relatives were from. The old Buckley family home still stands and has the street named after them. I have lots of tombstone photos I need to add.
In 2008 our church purchased the property which includes the Hayesville Cemetery...so now my interests are expanding outside of our own family tree. It's good to record, photograph and document all we can for future generations. | |

Did you know the contributor has passed away and if you write to edit@findagrave.com and ask for a transfer, they will eventually transfer her to you? I would like to see more on her memorial then the posted obituary.

Hi Tammy, I got your information on my America, Mike, and Ruth Mitchel family, the obits.
Also the web for Old Hayesville .
Wonderful help in my research, now I can add this information to my file of them on Find A Grave too.

This is very exciting..
Yes I have family at the little cemetary on Portland Road, behind the little church.
Michael Mitchell, America Neville Mitchell, and their daughter Ruth E. Mitchll.
America was my great great aunt.
I have pictures and information on all three of them.
I found the location of the graves about 4 years ago. It was a long search..I finally found the little cemetary and have been there each time we come to Salem. We visit the graves.

Thank you.
With photoshop, I just had to move the color from one place to another. Then with irfanview I just inserted the writing. It's easy enough, just takes some time. The writing can be added with photoshop also, but for something like this I prefer irfanview.
I though you might have a use for it. You are certainly welcome to use it to replace yours if you'd like.
I want to Thank You for taking the time to scan it and add it to F.A.G., I do like obituaries.
Would you like me to delete it from Corda's memorial?
Have you informed Chip that you placed it on her memorial, unfortunately we aren't notified when some one places photos on them. If you'll send him an SAC, he might like to update her information.
