RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 142454434
Janice:

Thank you. My prayers are with your daughter. The most complete tree I have is at Family Finder but if you take a look at all of my Find a Grave memorials, they are all family starting with my father # 39623219. You should be able to work your way back from there by clicking on the parents links. There is a missing memorial after my gr grandfather. I am working on the memorial now; just have to find out where buried. But that link is what connects me to William Powell of Chatham Co., NC and Seymore Powell of Chatham Co., NC, all of which has been validated by Y-DNA. Are you related to John A. Powell?

Kind regards,

John Powell

Janice:

Could I get you to process the edit I submitted on # 142454434? I am adding his father. As well, John A. Powell was born in Clarke Co., GA, not Elbert Co., GA. Most ancestry trees have this wrong; they assumed John A. Powell was from Elbert Co., GA because the Stowers family that he married into was from there. However, John A. Powell stated in the 1864 Militia List that he was born in Clarke Co., GA, which is where his father, Seymore Powell, lived until just after 1820 when he moved to Newton and then Dekalb Co., GA and died about 1836.

Thanks!

Margaret Murray-Springridge
This is a very small cemetery so very easy to search. There was no Margaret Murray.
We did find Charles W Murray 1866-1941, Martha Murray 1876-1960, William Henry Murray Sr, 1900-1970, Hennie R Murray 1898-1942, James Howard Murray (CSA Marker) 1831=1892), Bette Murray Lucas 1873-1904,
