Several years ago my Father asked me to find out as much about his family as I could as his Dad had not been around much when he was younger and his parents eventually divorced. That simple request sent me on my journey that now includes my husband and my children and takes me to Canada, Europe, and the Hawaiian Islands with the long history of the Kohala Coast. The importance of doing family research was strongly reenforced with the sudden passing of my 25 year-old daughter, Sara, in 2010. Now my husband and I jointly take pictures for other families in hopes of putting their families together, if only years later.|

Thanks for your note, Susan! It's always nice to learn that a fulfilled photo request was helpful and provided additional family information!

Do you have birth info on her? Better yet...lol...do you want her transferred to you? I was just looking for her stone picture which I don't have so thinking maybe someone sent me that info.
Hello! I am about to fulfill your photo request and I just want to apologize regarding the quality. The name plaques in many mausoleums are so tarnished they are difficult to read and to photograph. Sometimes a spotlight or flash helps, but sometimes the glare of the flash doesn't make the photo any better.
Edlough is next to Herbert Briggs. I created a memorial for him and will transfer him to you, as you probably know the relationship.
I am so sorry that you lost your daughter at such a young age. I don't know how any parent manages to go on with their life after the death of a child, no matter what the age. You must be very strong. I am strong in my faith and know that we will see our loved ones again, but the sorrow of being parted from them seems like it would be the most difficult challenge in life.
God bless you, Susan. If I can help you with any others, just let me know.

Not sure what you meant about noting the incorrect date on Carrie's stone, but I already have a note on the picture caption. Thanks for all you do.

Google "Robert Koch Hospital" in St. Louis, Mo. There are several good sites.

Yes, I have some. Several pages, some information. I looked for Noah, no luck.

I have searched several places for his burial site. In all probable situations, he is in an "Unknown Soldier" site or he could be in a Koch Cemetery where several of the Arsenal Island person were buried. This cemetery is no longer maintained.
