Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello. I'm Kyle Rambo and genealogy is my biggest hobby and has become a huge part of my life and who I am. I first started researching my family history in August of 2007, when I was just 12 years old. I have found so many family members and have gotten some really good leads in my research through findagrave. Genealogy to me is all about discovering your past and the wonderful people who have come and gone before's about discovering who you really are. I am also a Cherokee and Choctaw (along with other tribes) Native American descendant on both paternal and maternal sides of my family. My Cherokee great-great-great-great-great grandmother, Sagee Tahee was on the infamous trail of tears. She is one of many in my bloodline, but the only one I know anything about.

My current research interests are:

In Tennessee:
Rambo, Emert, Marshall, Boyd, Seay, Sea, Laines/Lones/Lonas and Wampler.

In Kentucky:
Rambo, Rickett, Rains, Veach, Miller, Martin, Davis, Holt, Robinson, Parker, Morris, Edwards, Truett, Scott, Gentry, Cromer, Hardin, Cornelius, Moore, Brummett, Wright, Adams, Jones, Chasteen, Mullins, Hill, Pennington, Reeves, Rapier, Wilson, Bradley, Laudermilk/Loudermilk, Stephens, Cox, White, Gilreath, Worley, Prewitt, Pruett, Shepherd, Snyder, Broughton, Meadow/Medows/medors, and Demoss.

In West Virginia:
Hicks, Garten, Belcher, Taylor, Naylor, Bryant, Crowder, Black, Owens, Daubenspeck, Sampson, Ashley, Edens, Deel, Copen, Slater, Joplin, Drake, Helmick, Davis, Pagent, Lewis, Mace and Wiseman.

There are also plenty more families I come from that I am not thinking of off the top of my head.

If you have any questions, corrections, suggestions or are related to anyone in my memorials and would like to collaborate information, please feel free to email me at You can also take a look at the link to my family website below. Thank you and have a very blessed day!! :)

I am the Great great grandaughter of Martha and Jessie Frances Kirby. I have been doing some research of our family tree and found your post on here at find a grave. My Great Grandmother was Lily Kirby Sandlin, would really like to find out more info for other relatives.

RE: James Loudermilk Parents
I had Worley also until I found North Carolina marriage records on It lists her name as Davis. I think I got Worley from someone else's tree which was apparently incorrect.

Question on his birthdate.

By accident I visited the Richardson Cemetery in Whitley County yesterday. I was searching for the John Parker Cemetary but did not find it.
I took pictures of all the graves and Issac stone
really stood out to me. I read the birthdate as
Oct. 14th, 1865, not Oct. 4th. Can you point me to any information that would confirm the birthdate? Thanks for any assistance.

Alexander Cox
Born Oct. 5th, 1964

Sandy Hicks Mullins
Boy we may have a lot connections. Check my name I am Mullins by marriage and blood 7 generations or so. Chasteens married Mullins so there also. Holt is a sore point blocked but have a cousin in my Hicks line who has Holts in her line and I hope someday to find the link. The Holt farm Cemetery interests me, I have learned the around about way through kids and grandkids is sometimes the solution, Found James O, while looking for 1860 census for his mom, (back door through him) found his burial and one or 2 that may be siblings. I will send you additional info on James and any others I have, I love to have everybody linked. If you look Michael Allen Mullins on my page and track him back you will see what I have gotten done there, back in time. Who in the Mullins line do you descend from? Post a few names on my page, It is amazing when you look at the names and how many times family lines cross,

I've seen you on the Whitley County Genealogy site and just realized we are related. Capt. Charles Gatliff was my 5x's great grandfather.

Great job. This is the only picture I have ever seen of him. If you ever come up with any more, please send them my way. I'll do the same. Good talking to you again.
