I am especially interested in graves and photos of descendants of three ancestors of mine: (1) Dr. Richard Collins (1725-1808), an immigrant in the 1750's from Ulster, Ireland who settled in Port Republic, Atlantic County, New Jersey; (2) Rev. Richard Furman (1755-1825), of South Carolina, a founder of Furman University, many of whose descendants drifted westward from South Carolina to Louisiana and Texas; and (3) Johann Friedrich Mueller 3rd (1826-1903), an immigrant in 1854 from the Rheinland-Pfalz who settled in Scranton, PA.
Links to a large ancestry file as well as documents and photos can be found at the website below.
As time is available, I can take photos of graves in the region between Spokane and Pullman, WA.

 | Collins Cemetery I have a week of vacation. Maybe I can get those Collins Cemetery photos to you soon. Wish I had the time to clean it out a little, but I have a problem with cleaning out the serpentine creek at Peace Pilgrim Park first so the park doesn't become a lake!!!

 | Lennie (Rothwell) Vollmer Lynd: Dear Mr. and Mrs. Collins: My daughter Melinda Morse has called me today and told me about your trip to the Greenwood Cemetary in Palouse, WA to take pictures of the Vollmer family burial plot. I can not thank you enough for your generosity. My name is Diana (Nelson) Morse and I live near Rathdrum, ID. The last time I was to visit Aunt Lennie's grave was the memorial day before my mother (Lennie's niece) passed away in 1994. She took me there to show me where Aunt Lennie was buried next to her first husband known to me as "Short" Vollmer. I didn't know him since he passed away before I was born. My mother was very disturbed when she discovered that she did not have a tombstone. Aunt Lennie was my grandmother's sister. Melinda and I plan to get her one in the near future. Lennie and John Vollmer had one child a son (Robert Vollmer) who has since passed away. This is very comforting to us that you have provided these wonderful pictures of her grave and the Vollmer family plot. Thank you again, Diana (Nelson) Morse, Lennie's great-niece | | | Melinda Morse, R.N.
