I've been interested in genealogy for many years. My great-grandmother and grandmother instilled in me not only a love of family but also a love of family history. Thanks to their research and great memories I got a wonderful start on researching my family roots. The internet has added to the fun and helped me to find out even more about my family roots.

If you have birth info for Virginia Rowland, the SS record I found list her BD as Sept 3, 1922 and death Nov 4 2010 in Spokane, Washington. But she is listed as Virginia V Harris. Also when I searched marriage records I found a record for Virginia Baggs, and another for Virginia Rowland. Both with the same marriage date and husband Jesse E Harris. I remembered the date they got married very well. It was on my birthday. I am still looking for marriage records for Baggs and Kinkaid. I am not sure about the spelling of that last name either but that is what Sandy gave me. It may be Kincaid. | | | Sue McGuire

So if I am reading it right Claude Edward is June's Brother? I always knew her as June but see that I usually find her listed as Virginia V. Do you know what the V stands for? Do you know Winnie's family? Her daughter Sandy is the one who gave me the info on the correct cemetery. | | | Sue McGuire

Thank you for correcting. No I am not related. I knew Winnie and her family but not real well. We were neighbors in the mountain community of Twin Oaks California for a few years. Her sister Virginia married My kids Dad after we divorced. We were friends. I am doing some research for my children and since she was their step mom for a few years I wanted to include her in the connection. I have gathered most of my information on earlier members from my ancestry.com account. I am looking for documentation for Virginia's death at present. She remarried after the kids Dad died (Jesse Harris)to a man named Kinkaid and they lived in Washington at her death. The only record I can find is in the Social security index and list Virginia Harris. The dates fit pretty well but since I do not know her SS number I am not sure. Virginia Rowland, Baggs, Harris Kinkaid died in 2010 but her son did not have her memorial until April of the next year. She is buried in Wasco California.
