I am the daughter of James Wells Chaplin and Sharon Lee Harper both of Kanawha County West Virginia.I have to admit,I am addicted to researching my ancestry! It has been the only thing that has kept my attention for 25 + years now ;). I was raised and still reside in sunny Florida, a long way from my roots of Kanawha West Virginia.


We little knew that morning, God was going to call your name, In life we loved you dearly, In death we do the same.It broke our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone. For part of us went with you The day God called you home
You left us beautiful memories, Your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you, You are always at our side.Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again.


I am more than willing to transfer a memorial under the"Family First" policy! Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Please Explain your relationship in the request as the majority of my memorials are my immediate Families As in "my opinion" should be!
