I love researching! It continues to be a puzzle I'm not sure I'll ever solve. I was blessed to have a grandmother (Vera Nell Smith Randall) who assisted me. She remained extremely sharp into her 90's and had amazing recall of names and dates.
My family names: Randall, Smith, Sterling, Rials, Guess/Guest, Morgan. I am currently in the process of applying for DAR membership based on the Revolutionary War Records of Morgan Guest.
My husband's family names: Carnline, Fox, Stewart, Lockwood, Norsworthy, Woodel, Smith, Robeson
It is always a pleasure to be able to fulfill photo requests for my area. Feel free to share any photo I take for you...and try to pass the favor on for someone else.

Mrs. Lola Faust Brown, 91, died at Schumpert Medical Center at Shreveport on Feb. 9, 1988.
Services will be held today, Thursday, Feb. 11, at 11 a.m. at Friendship Nazarene Church with Rev. Paul Wankel and Rev. Troy Neff officiating. Burial will be at Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
She is survived by five sons, Elmer Faust of Gallition, Tenn., Sidney Faust of Robeline, Willie Faust of Crowley, Oscar Faust of Bossier City and Jerry Don Faust of Belcher; four daughters, Lucille Brossette of Natchitoches, Nan Quideaux of Crowley, Oudia Maricelli of Houma and Betty Rains of Shreveport; one brother, Sammy Mitchell of Natchitoches, one sister, Irene Simpson of Many, 35 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, 15 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. | | | Wylie Blackwell
