I started our Family Tree about 1 year ago, it has gone from a hobby to a fulltime job. I do enjoy finding info on our family members. The cemeteries are a wealth of info. There is so much information out there already lost and forgotten so I want to do my part to preserve what I know and can find out in case anyone is interested in the future.

Pope Co IL Glass Famiy
Sheri, I was informed we have a duplicate memorial in the Antioch Cem., Pope Co IL. You have H.H. Glass #75365713 and I have Henry Harrison Glass #92791250. You entered your memorial first, if you would like to add my information to your memorial, I'll delete mine. Just let me know. Take care, Judy

RE: Dalton Cemetary
This looks like the Lee Cemetery was on the Howlett Farm. If so could be the same cemetery as the Howlett Cemetery. I couldn't get any more info from this site.

RE: Dalton Cemetary
No relation, just stumbled across the Dalton Cemetery information. I live in California, but am from Mississippi County. Good hunting.

RE: Alvin P Dalton
Sorry, I am not. I probably got the information from the children's death certificates. I can transfer them all if you would like. Let me know.

Look at the Dalton Cemetery in Mississippi County, MO. I just added it to findagrave. Could be your relatives.

John Ormsby
Wondering if you are familiar with a John Ormsby who married Mary Ann Webb. She died in 1903 at Fern-Nook.

RE: Henry Shoemaker
Henry's son John Lee Shoemaker is next to him, and I've put up both his marker picture and obituary. Ironically, I've been researching a Schumacher family, but am not related to any of them and know nothing more. Good luck in your search!

RE: Glasses
Dear Sheri, you're very welcome. I haven't been on my site in a long time, so please forgive my tartiness. If you have anything to add on the Glass Family, please do so.
Sincerely, Judy F. Lee

Shell Cemetery
Shell Cemetery is 3/4 mile from Hwy 51.
If you go when the weather is warm -- be sure to use tick spray.

RE: Re: Samuel Baker
Take Highway 51 South and turn on County Road 400 just outside of Marble Hill. There is no cemetery sign and it sits on top of a hill on the right hand side of the County Road. You have to be on the look out for it. We didn't clock the mileage but roughly somewhere between 1-2 miles from the turnoff of Hwy 51 & CR 400. You will have to walk to get to it. There is a cattle gate at the edge of the county road, then you cross a small creek, walk up the hill to the right and there is another cattle gate. Once you cross this gate there is another on the left that actually goes into the cemetery.
