 | Children of John J. Browning John was son of John Henry and Leah Starns Browning of McDonald County, Missouri. John Jasper and Mary Amanda Strawn (born 6 June 1849, died 7 April 1884) had these children: William Henry Browning who died in California; Robert M. Browning; Columbus Franklin Browning (my grandfather); Bertha Ellen Browning who married Robert R. Mullins; Ollie Jane Browning who married Eli Denney; Stephen Bethel Browning; Ernest Oscar Browning; Florence Iola Browning who married (1) Walter M. Lee (2) Claude Ball. By his 2nd wife Mary Elizabeth Mullins, born 9 March 1860, died 14 September 1917, he had these children: John Jay Browning; Maude May Browning who married Charles E. Shue; Myrtle Day Browning who married Robert L. Knott; Caledonia Browning who married Clarence Moore and died in California; Lora B. Browning who married Mr. Bealier and died in Colorado. | | | Ruth Browning
 | John J. Browning, Spring River Cemetery I am descendant of John Jasper and Mary Amanda Strawn Browning (his 1st wife). I have seen the tombstone and believe that Mary Amanda is on one side and Mary Elizabeth (Mullins), his second wife, is on the other. I don't find this record in the Spring River Cemetery index. Am I remembering correctly? | | | Betty Jean Wolverton-George
 | James T Pendleton Deborah, I was wondering if you remember in your journey around Dover Bapt. Church Cemetery seeing our taking a photo of a headstone near James T Pendleton - his wife was Mary Ann Stacey and they married 19 Aug 1852 Lawrence County, Missouri. I am looking for her headstone and date of death, if you recall JT doesn't have a date of death...but I found an Obit and am still working on both of them...
They both seem to have left without much information....
Thank you for your time with this request.
