Thanks so much for the journey to Fourth Line and for letting me know there are no stones there for Peter Switzer or Anna Marie (Guier) Switzer. Do you have other evidence that they are buried there? In other words, the memorials you created list them there, is there some family story or other info? I'd appreciate knowing. Also, I see the cemetery is listed at Lambton County, but a photo volunteer sent me a note saying it is located in Lennox & Addington County. Is he correct? If so, I can submit a correction to findagrave.

Thank you kindly
Hi and thanks for you kind and timely response. I am certainly grateful for any further information you glean from any return visit to Four Lines. I will also enjoy reading up on the history of the United Empire Loyalists. Thanks again.

Hi, and thanks for all you contribute to findagrave. I was wondering whether you have any further information about burials of Peter and Anna Marie (Guier) Switzer in Four Line. To be exact, are there headstones remaining?

They are my 3rd great grandparents and I've had a particular interest given the German, Irish, American, and Canadian odyssey the family went through.

Do you have any book recommendations on local history? I understand they left New York after the Revolution, but I'm really not well read on that era in Canada.

Any information/thoughts you would be willing to sharewould be appreciated. thanks very much! Greenie.

RE: Schryver
I'm first gen Canadian and therefore don't research my own genealogy locally. I have received so much help from others (especially in the UK) and this is one way of 'giving back'. :)

RE: Schryver

I have been adding photos from cemeteries in the area (Napanee / Verona / Harrowsmith regions) and noticed your user name on quite a few of the memorials as the person who created them. If I have created any memorials that you would like management of, feel free to holler. :)

You're welcome. I assumed they were connected to you in some way and thought it better the memorials be managed by someone with a connection. :)
