|Traie Shelhart||Abel Jackman|
Hi, again. I wanted to let you know that during one of my visits to the Stones River National Battlefield, I spoke with one of the rangers there about Abel Jackman of the 38th Indiana Infantry. Research shows that he is indeed buried in the Stones River Nat'l. Cemetery, but his grave was never identified. So, he's there, just under an "unknown" marker...unfortunately. I hope this info is wrong, and hope to find out otherwise...
|Traie Shelhart||RE: Book?|
Hi! The book is in the its editing/design phase at its publisher. Should be done soon. Just out of curiousity, what was your gr-gr-grandfathers' name?

The best way I can describe is you look for the pole that says Section "T", the stone for James Allen was on the left side of the road that goes along section "T"
