| Raymond J. Ashenhurst
Hi, I saw you posted Raymond's picture on his memorial, so I'm wondering if you can help me. On the 1940 US Census, my husband's great grandmother, Lela May Harris Sapp & her mother, Almira Harris, are living with Raymond J. & Eva Ashenhurst in Des Moines, Iowa & Lela Sapp is listed as his mother, Almira Harris is listed as his grandmother. His obituary lists a different mother. Have you ever known anything about this?
Any help clearing up this mystery would be greatly appreciated.
