 | John Danal Weller Hi! I noticed that there appear to be two memorials for this person. Yours #65059403 was created first. The second, #81114555, was created later and shows him as being buried in the Welty Church Cemetery. I'm not sure which is correct as I am not familiar with Washington County. Both memorials are linked to the correct spouse, Mary L. Weller #53999120. Mary is buried in the Welty Church Cemetery. I am also sending a message to the person who created the second memorial. I know that your memorial should have priority but I am wondering if you have the correct cemetery. John and Mary's daughter, Mary Weller, married William James Holloway, one of my relatives. I apologize in advance if I am incorrect about the cemetery. | | | larry pike
 | smithsburg cemetery Melvin,in the cemetery is a marker for Fred Austin Pike, Oct 15 1922 - Jan 28 1923. This is a son of Ira & Gladys Pike.My father George Ira Pike said this is his brother. The family was living on the farm just above Smithsburg and it was a warm winter day. They had set Fred out on the porch to enjoy it. He caught a cold and died. The farm is on rt 77 ?,it's still there. Uncle Dan,Ira's brother built the white brick house above it. I live outside Champaign,Il. but get back there a few times. | Lola Samuels Thanks Melvin for the obit for my grandmother. I don't think I ever saw it. My dad was her son with her first marriage. I am not sure what the whole story is/was. I was recently married when Lola died and since we were from central Ohio and didn't have all that much contact with her in Maryland, dad didn't think it important for us kids to attend the funeral. I think just he and my mother went.. I was very happy to see this from you. Thank you. | | | Barbara
 | Maurice Beall thanks for the link, was also able to find and link his parents who were added this year

 | RE: MEMORIAL TRANSFERS no problem. My pleasure. I'll transfer more as I get them. | | | Crystal Payne
 | RE: Transferred Mrs Paull the Patterson yahoo group. I found some info. haven't had the chance to send out an email yet though. I formed the group so I don't have to send out several emails. One email goes to everyone in the group. It's ok if you don't want to belong but I thought you would know some stuff the rest of us may not know since you have a closer connection to the Pattersons than I do since I didn't know any of them.

 | Transferred Mrs Paull I thought about holding her ransom until you join our group but thought better of it, anyhow, she's all yours.

 | RE: AARON E. REECHER Mel, Here is what I did in responce to your message as (copied below): Hi Ken, I discovered today that Aaron E. Reecher (82841798) isn't buried with his first wife Nettie at Funkstown cemetery, he's actually buried with his second wife Alice at Rest Haven cemetery. I think we should delete the photo of his cemetery marker on his memorial but leaving it intact for Nettie and his son Vernon. Let me know what you think. I agree and I have deleated the photo from Aaron's memorial. I also contacted Mike and asked him to place a note on the memorial for his wife Nettie and son's memorials to indicate that he was not buried with them as the photo would indicate but that he was buried with his second wife at Rest Haven. I am sur that Mike will make this notation for us. Thanks for your bringing this to my attention. Kenneth
