Bio Photo Welcome :) I am Happy to help with local gravesite photos.
I am finding photos & data being shared on Ancestry.com and another genealogy website as part of public trees with inaccurate information posted. Find A Grave is a resource for information, not always documented fact. If you are working on your family tree and new to researching online, try to confirm facts by documentation and don't go just by public information on here or Ancestry. I have had family pictures taken off of my personal memorials and loaded onto Ancestry that were mis-identified.Because of this I have had to remove many photos and documents shared here.
If I took a headstone picture for your family member's memorial, you have my permission to use that as you wish and do not need to credit me or ask permission. Please leave messages here on my profile page for edits and transfers. Thank you-

Sarah Griffin - Forest Hill Cemetery
Hi,

Looking into your request for a picture of Sarah Griffin d. 1946 at Forest Hill Cemetery in Evart, MI.

Checking that this may be a duplicate of a Sarah Griffin d. 1919 and the date is entered wrong on the Forest Hill database. I am not finding a death certificate or information for a Sarah Griffin d. 1946. Do you have further information? Thanks!

Sandy

RE: Thank you
You are so very welcome! I believe her parents are next to them as they all shared the big headstone. I just haven't gotten them out there yet.

Nancy Kaley
I found an obituary for Nancy Kaley. It was published in the Findlay Morning Republican, Findlay, Ohio, on Saturday, Sept 4, 1926. It said that she died Friday afternoon. That would make her date of death as Sept 3,1926.
The cemetery records says that she died 5/27/1926, but was buried on 9/6/1926. That would make it over three months before burial, which seems odd. I believe that the info from the cemetery records is incorrect because it came from the headstone. I would be willing to do some more checking for you.

RE: Thank you
You're very welcome! Glad I could help! His headstone was covered in leaves and it was muddy so hopefully I can get back out there in the spring and clean it off and get an even better picture for you. Happy Thanksgiving!
