Bio and Links
Bio Photo For the last 30+ years I have been researching the following families in Tennessee who ended up in DeKalb, Putnam and White Counties: Schleicher/Sliger, Martin, Harris, Richardson, Andes, Keplinger, Elrod, Allison, Robinson, Gracy, and Childress. As well as these families who were in the Ohio River region -- from Ghent, Kentucky to Ripley, Ohio -- in the 19th Century: Deardoff/Deardorff, Minish/Minnish, Williamson, Booth, Rigg/Riggs, Henry, McGrew, Moore and Woods. Looking forward to trading information with 'cousins' everywhere.

Mary Robinson / Nancy A Childress
Hi Dean,

My name is Michael Williams. I found your comments left on the findagrave.com page for Mary Robinson (1916-1992) memorial 34291896. Mary is my 2nd cousin 2x removed. Her mother was Nancy Childress. I am currently researching my Childress family. I was hoping to swap information with you. Feel free to email me anytime. Hope to hear from you.

Dean, I found Florence Cleo and made her memorial and already had the photo request filled , yes she is in Woodland, Ernest is on the stone also with no dod # 137430987, the gentleman who filled it was kind enough and uploaded it to Ernest also.

RE: Ernest Stephen Minnish
Could his wife's real name be Martha or Florence, I know the Florence buried in Dayton Memorial was married to a Frank.

RE: John Booth at Greencastle Cemetery
Dean,
I know the Green Castle (old section) has had every marked photographed and posted to Find a Grave.
I went over there last year to try and fill some requests and it was so over grown I was socked, couldn't even walk in it.

I did some checking around and found that the last time it was cleaned up I think in 2012 they went in and photographed all the head stones then went to the Wright State University library to get the cemetery records and made memorials for them on Find a Grave.

Here's the story from last years clean up

Dean:

Wife of Joe H Allison "Hara" as listed in memorial. Not Mine Lick. But still a cousin to you I would guess. She is my 1st cousin fourth removed.

RE: Fanny Ella Roberson Welch #62335170
Fixed, and thank you for letting me know. Apparently the correct Alfred didn't have a memorial - that's been rectified.

Goff Cemetery - Dock Medley
There is no Goff Cemetery anywhere in Putnam County. There is a Goff Funeral Home in Monterey, and they perform many burials at Welch Memorial. Hope that helps.
