Matt Peltola, Jacobsville Cemetery
Hi, I've been doing some updates here and found a small "mystery" stone. It's a concrete slab with small pebbles set into it, in what looks like the name "Peltola." No other information, and the stone has sunk down into the ground quite a bit. There are quite a few homemade markers here and this might fit with the Depression era death date of your Matt. Do you think it might be his, or shall I post the photo as "Unknown" Peltola?
Best, Donna

Thank you for the memorial for Ellen "Nellie" Hearn Hocking, #94819556. Would you mind transferring management to me? She is my 2x great grandmother. Thanks!

James Hocking 94819521
Hi Genebug,
James Hocking 94819521 is part of my Mother's Vivian clan.
At the Truro Records Office I saw his Camborne records.
James Vivian Hocking, son of William George Hocking (1810-1882) and Sally (Sarah) Vivian (1810-1871). Both parents born and died in Camborne.
Sally's parents are my 3rd great-grandparents, Thomas Vivian and Alice Sowden.
James was married in Truro on 11 Dec 1865 to Ellen (Nellie) Hearn (1842-1918). They are in the 1880 Houghton county census living in Franklin. After James's death she moved to Portage per 1910 census.
If you are not a descendant, I would appreciate the transfer of James to me.
Thanks,
Jim Sindberg

Bertha Irene Lindgren Greilick
Genebug,
Bertha preferred being known as Irene.
I knew her and her sister,Vi as they lived across the street from each other.
Irene and her husband divorced about 1970.
Their house was torn down about 1975 to add on to the Metro Fire Dept. on Parsons Road. Vi has passed away since in 2010. She was always a nice lady.

Hello Genebug, I'm sorry I just submitted some corrections for this memorial and I referred to you as Ann. I was mistaken in thinking the headstone photo taker was the same person as the creator of this memorial. I'm sorry!

I've submitted updates to the memorial based on the headstone photo; but perhaps the photo is just attached to the incorrect memorial. If you believe that's true, please ignore/decline my updates and contact the photo poster to ask her (Ann = wefoundyou) to remove the headstone photo from this memorial and add it to the correct one or create a new one for it.
Thank you and again, I'm sorry for my confusion.
Happy Holidays!
JMo

Hi Genebug,
Cute name. If this is to far for you, that is okay. I forgot how this works. I will just wait to see who can do this per request in the area. I guess it was because you had made him a memorial page & thought that you then were close by. Trace
