|M Cooley||Mercy. Humphrey Wilcox Pettibone|
I suspect that she is buried in Burlington, however finding as Abraham had property in Burlington. I can't locate a death date. Is it possible she died after Abraham and remarried? Perhaps she is with her other daughter and I only found 2 of the 3. with the towns in this area changing boundaries makes researching a challenge. Let me know if you find her.

I put what information I have into his memorial (I updated it with your request. Most headstones do not show cause death, vital records of where they died might. Some cemeteries have burial logs, you could call the curator and see if there is information in a log. There is DAR work that has been done on this person so maybe they would have some additional information. I have been looking for his wife Mercy, she is not with Sadoce, nor is she with Abraham Pettibone. Abraham is with Jerusha, his first wife in Dyer Cemetery. 2 of their daughters are in Case Cemetery. I have not found the third daughter. Her children with Sodace left Connecticut for Ohio etc. I can't locate an exact death date for Mercy. Do you have any information that I did not put into the memorials to help locate Mercy?

Thanks Charlene. I have updated Elizabeth Case's date & place of birth and added her nickname Betsy.
I too am in the process of applying for DAR membership. It is a lot of work compiling all those documents! Good luck,

Your finally have the photo of Amos Case's headstone you requested 3 years ago! His wife, Elizabeth, is buried next to him. I also created a memorial for her. Do you happen to know if she is Elisabeth Ward daughter of Gamaliel Ward born in Middletown, CT on March 18, 1744 or Elizabeth Ward daughter of Samuel Ward and Hannah Cornwell born in Simsbury, CT October 13, 1744 or neither? I would like to add her date of birth to the memorial page.
