Thank you so much for checking Cheryl! Sometimes with these online lists, one doesn't know if there are headstones or not, as its just a listing on the page.

Really appreciate your time in checking for me. Thanks again!

Photo requests
For O'Neils

I got them waiting for me to work on so please be patient! LOL!...Just didn't want you to think I was ignoring your suggestion

My correction box has way too many of my suggestions waiting to be done but I might as well file them since some members don't do them. Most of them are duplicates...why don't they delete them??

Oh well, thanks for letting me know about them being in the wrong cemetery

Blue :)

RE: Margaret Brown Peek
How very interesting that Margaret was NOT buried in Mt Morris Cemetery but Montrose, what a great find! Perhaps the family was not certain at the time the obituary was printed as to where her final resting place would be. Thank you so very much for going out of your way to locate this record and solve this mystery! Yes, I would love to have a copy of the record if it's not inconvenient for you. Snail mail is fine or by e-mail, whatever works well for you:

Have a great Father's Day weekend celebrating the important and loved men in your life!

RE: Query
Hi Cheryl, according to the Michigan Death Index Margaret passed away in Flint, Genesee. I posted the information and her obituary on her memorial page, the obituary was copied directly from a posting on RootsWeb. I have not contacted the informant to see how she's related to the Peek family. That would be most awesome if you wanted to look her information up while at the Genealogy Dept! Don't go out of your way too much though if it takes too much time. Warmly, Helen

Query
Hi Cheryl, I only have the information that Margaret Peek was buried in the Mt Morris Cemetery based on her obituary. However, over the years I have see incorrect information posted in obituaries and people have been discovered buried elsewhere. The best I could do is order her death certificate or if I could locate the funeral home who handled her funeral they would have better information. Thanks so much for looking for me. Warmly, Helen

The O'Neils
Hi there

Thanks for checking that cemetery but I put in two more requests and put in a note on both requests as to just report the problem and not remove the requests until I can find the obituary that I based this cemetery on

Cemetery offices have been known to be wrong about their records as well as not caring to tell our volunteers the truth.

You probably already know that but its the message I give all of the ones I get rejected by cemetery office

Once I find that darn obituary again I shall correct it

Thanks for letting me know what you found. I would much rather have people reporting problems instead of deleting the photo request. The other reason would be that just because there is no stone now, does not mean there won't be one later or someone might have missed it along the way

Thanks again
Blue
