p.s.
p.s. you can see highway 165 well from the cemetery, but not vice versa. You will be looking down on the road. Also the gate entrance is to the far right end of the chain link fence, near the edge of the embankment leading down to 165.

Green Head Cemetery
Green Head/Anthony's Chapel Cemetery is high on a hill beside the road, but you can't see it from the road. Someone else took us there. But from what I remember, the cemetery was on the northeast side of the road. I'm looking at the satellite photo which shows we were heading northeast (I would have thought east), went about 100 yards past it, then turned right and took an immediate right on a dirt road up to the chain link fence. The place we turned off the road was low and sandy. There are a lot more trees in the satellite photo than I remember. Where we turned there weren't many trees. But the cemetery is in a dense thicket. I can't imagine you finding it without using the GPS coordinates. Latitude: 32.15503, Longitude: -85.05804

RE: obits
You are the first person to reply that they realized that the statement is a hint for researchers. So glad you took the hint.

Such a helpful resource and Free! One thing I would caution, there are MANY typeos in the Cleveland Necrology File (which is the OLDEST obits.) If you type in the LAST name only, you'll get the most response. If you type in FIRST and LAST name, you'll get names of people who may also be related to the person in some way.

Have a great day.

Lettie Love
Daniel Grantham
My name is Lettie Love. I believe that Daniel & Martha Maria Grantham are my ggg grandparents. I believe that they had a daughter named Martha Piety Grantham. She was born in Irwin County, Georgia & died too in Mc Coy, Florida. Do you know anything about Martha Piety? She married James C. Carlton, who was killed in the Civil War. They had 2 sons, James Alpheus (my gg grandfather) & Henry Bascom. I am trying to find out where she might be buried.

Thanks,
Lettie
