Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi,

My name is Janis and I live in Arizona. However all my ancestors were primarily from Ohio (Stark, Monroe, Noble and Washington County; West Virginia (Jackson County) and Pennsylvania (Mercer, Elk, Northumberland & Juniata Counties).

My primary ancestry names are Morgan, Brown, Reed, Patton, Franklin, Runser & Rardon.
Others that I am actively seeking are Bamberger, Boli,Hupp, Templeton, Skinner, Staats, Alkire, Derenberger, Allas, Shupe , McCloskey, plus many more. I've been digging up my roots since 1990 and absolutely love the hunt and especially when I find something.

I have posted photos whenever I have one as it is so great for me when I can find an ancestor and put a face to a name.

Use of the photos are available for your personal use, but if you want to publish them please contact me first for permission. This also means putting them on Ancestry without any acknowledgement of where you got it and my permission.

Those who have cemetery lookups in Maricopa and possibly Pinal County AZ I can probably help. I don't do it during the summer months as it is too hot, but any time between October thru April I'm willing to go searching.

Thanks to all of you who have been so generous with your information and postings.

RE: George Morgan gravesite
This cemetery is in horrible shape. There many stones missing, there are stones that have dirt and grass that has grown over them we didn't even know the stones were there until we stepped on something hard. Much care is needed at this cemetery. I wish we could have been more help.

Janis: may I have permission to use the memorial number 65156634 in my family tree? Richard was my 2nd cousin.

I looked at that website--too bad those folks didn't add those to the Find a Grave website!

RE: Adam & Sophie Yast

You're welcome. There are a large number of unreadable and damaged stones at this cemetery so it's quite possible that they are buried there but the stone are either destroyed or unreadable.

RE: Carl Runser
Hi Janis, No relation to the Runser family. I am working on the Champion Cemetery. Over 2,000 photos to and and also working on the old cemetery transcripts.

Have a great day.

RE: Reisinger
I have two Carl Reisinger's in my family. One is Carl born 22 April 1938 and died 28 May 1947 in Polk, His parents were Icey Reisinger and Alma McFarland

The second was Carl Leland Reisinger who was born 17 Dec 1886 and died 27 Jan 1964. His first wife was Sarah E. Conner 1886-1950 and second wife Lida M Smith 1889-1973.

I have Echols "Eck" Wallace Reisinger born 1877- 1916 married to Dora C Patton, Daugher of George J Patton and Harriet Cleo Smith.

"Echols E. Reisinger died at his residence at Thirteenth and Railroad streets at 5:45 o'clock Monday morning, after an illness of a year and half with heart trouble.
He was born April 25, 1877, in Frenchcreek township. He had lived in Franklin for the past 14 years. In 1899 he married Miss Dora Patton of Sandy Lake, who survives
him. In addition fo the widow, there are the following living relatives: a sister, Mrs. J. McFetridge of near Polk; four brothers—Hiram and McClelland of Frenchcreek
township, Charles of near Polk, and John of Sharon---and two children—Millie and Grant, at home. The deceased was a member of the Franklin Aerie, 328, Fraternal Order
of Eagles. The funeral services will take place at the house at 11 o'clock, Wednesday morning. At noon the funeral party will leave, with the remains for Sandy Lake,
where interment will take place." Venango Daily Herald, Franklin, PA, August 28, 1916.

they are buried at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Sandy Lake, the care takers can show you where. At the caretakes building take the road
straight up the hill to the right of the building. I was there in 2009 looking for them and my gt grandfather McClelland Reisinger
He is off to the right of that road below an old mosuleum. Just MC Reisinger on the stone.
I am doing a history and genealogy book of the Reisingers, so if you have information I could use I would appreciate it.
Echols was the last son of Henry George Reisinger who was my gt gt grandfather. He came from Germany in 1854 and married Susanna Flickner/Flickinger.

I hope this helps you out. Or it will confuse you more. Echols did have a store, it was mentioned in his son Grant's obit. Grant was killed when hit by a train.

Let me know if you need anything else.
