Bio Photo I just wanted to thank "Laurel" for her help in finding my father, aunt, uncle and brother. She only asks that anyone she helps, "pay it forward". I hope that I was able to do that today by adding several people and photos to their listings.

If at anytime you find something that you would like removed, please contact me immediately and I will honor your wishes and respect your privacy.

I only hope that you find your "special angel" like I did..... and then you too can "pay it forward"!!

Linda Wright-Wood

** I enjoy being able to "document" any memorials that I add to Find-A-Grave with photos. I feel that being able to "source" my information with an actual photo allows the family members a opportunity to feel as if they are right there with their loved ones. **

Andrew Piaggi
I am the Niece of Andrew Piaggi, buried in Sacramento, CA. You have my Mother and Aunt who were his biological sisters listed as half-siblings.
You also have his mother listed as Anna Saladana.
This was her 2nd husbands name. Her maiden name was Pease. Could you please correct these entries.
Thank you

RE: Joseph Blansett
You are most welcome. Joseph Blansett was the brother of my 2nd great-grandfather, James. He is supposed to be buried out there too but I have been unable to find his headstone. Most of the stones out there are broken or illegible. Glad I could help you with Joseph's. If you would like to contact me my direct email is My address is 3206 Cash Cove, Paragould, AR 72450. Thanks. Jo Ann

I am a F-A-G volunteer like you are. I am doing this to save you time and disappointment. I would want to be treated this same way.
Sadly, there is absolutely NO cooperation from the San Luis Cemetery with Find A Grave volunteers. I was threatened with the police by the owner of the San Luis Cemetery, just talking to him over the phone.
However, there has been great success with the San Luis Obispo County Genealogical Society. They completed exhaustive photographing of gravestones at San Luis Cemetery.
You can email a request for a photo of the grave stone(s) you are looking by doing the following; and they will respond promptly:
Address your email to
Put in the subject line
San Luis Cemetery Headstone photo
Give them the name and birth and death dates, or as much as you know.
Ask them to send a picture of the headstone, and tell them how you are related or what your interest is in this person.
They will appreciate that. This information may only be used in genealogical research.
They will email you within a day or two with an attached photo(s), if it exists.
I will ask that your request be removed (so others arenít discouraged), now that you have a very reliable and quick way to achieve your goal. If there is any problem, please let me know.
As a reference here is the website for the index for all the burials at San Luis Cemetery through 2010.
Best wishes.

Long and funny story. The cemetery is officially closed, but it opens one day a year - John Glassford and I prepped for that day only to find it locked - so we called, and they opened it for us - we spent the whole day doing the entire cemetery, only to find that a third graver had also visited from Oklahoma two days before. I regret the amount of shade, but at least you can read some of them.

RE: David Knight Shelton
Hello Linda,
He is a 2nd cousin once removed; so, he is not really close. That said, I would love to have him if you would transfer management to me. I see family members in NC occasionally and could probably come up with a story or two to add later.
Best regards,
