Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a very active photo volunteer for my area. Please let me know if you got the photo(s) I've taken for you! It takes a lot of hours, not to mention the gas it uses to do these requests so I'm hoping to at least know you got them!

I am disabled so please bear with me as my physical condition has become more limiting while I make the best attempt to get the best picture of the monument you are requesting. I am now limited to visting only cemeteries that are almost completely flat, which in my area is rare. Also, some stones are very difficult to photograph because they have to be cleaned. That takes A LOT of time sometimes for me (or anyone, really)to get down to do it. Lichen is hard stuff! I always do my best to get the best picture. It's just difficult sometimes.

All pictures are open for use in any (appropriate) way you need; such as on ancestry.com. I am more than happy to have them serve multiple purposes!

I really enjoy fulfilling your requests. Thank you for allowing me to help you!

Thank you so much for taking and posting these pictures! Finally able to see the gravestones of my 3rd great Grandfather and 2nd great Grand Uncle. Always planned to make the trip myself, but time gets away so quickly.
Now I can add this info to my family tree.
Thanks again for your work

1/wife Mary E. Logan Lathrop
To all you lucky people if you get Brian Neward
a Find A Grave Photo volunteer to search for a tombstone for you and take a picture of your ancestor. Brian made the extra effort and went back twice and dug off top soil and found Mary E. (Logan) Lathrop's tombstone wife of David K. Lathrop of Scio, NY. and La Salle Co., IL. He was Illinois Civil War Veteran wounded in 1863 sent home to La Salle Co., IL.
He, 2nd wife Jennie Bosworth Lathrop and infant
child all died in 1863. He is buried there and not
with 1st wife Mary E. (Logan) Lathrop in Palmer
Cemetery, Scio, Allegany Co., NY. David K. Lathrop was the son of Alfred and Keziah Bogue Lathrop buried in Fairlawn Cemetery in Scio.
Much appreciation and many thanks Brian for all your help.

Brian:
How nice of you to make the suggestion on going back to Palmer Cemetery.
David K. Lathrop is buried in La Salle Co., Illinois with his 2nd wife. It was a sad story.
Wounded, discharged from Civil War he came home
and he, his wife and infant child all died in 1863. He most likely from complications of the wound he received. Remaining underage children
taken back to Scio, NY from Illinois to be raised by family members.
Much appreciation for your thoughtfulness.
